Fencing meets Tennis - ARTOS at the Leipzig Open
ARTOS presents itself at the women's world ranking tennis tournament from August 14-20, 2017 on the grounds of the Leipzig Tennis Club in a different light. In cooperation with the dedicated specialist physician Dr. med. René Toussaint (ARZ Leipzig), the company ARTOS introduced all athletes and visitors of the event to the innovative therapy method Bemer® for improving physical performance.
The health-oriented service was well received, so many well-known faces from politics, business and sport could also be found at the Bemer®.

Fencing World Championship in Leipzig
From July 19-26, the Fencing World Championship took place in the Leipzig Arena with 900 fencers from 118 nations. The Fencing World Championship 2017 was officially opened by the President of the World Fencing Federation, Alisher Usmanov.
Thrilling bouts on the centre court, a magnificent opening ceremony with many highlights such as the Gewandhaus Orchestra and enthusiastic visitors in the stands.
In cooperation with Nike Fencing, ARTOS shares a sales stand in the Leipzig Arena. During the Fencing World Championship, merchandise items such as the official event shirt, caps, backpacks, Nike fencing shoes and much more are sold here. In the foreground the fencing team from France.

FIE World Championship Training Camp
ARTOS installs 20 fencing pistes and various equipment in the Ernst Grube Hall at the University of Leipzig. Here athletes from Bolivia, Togo, Samoa, Rwanda and many other nations have the opportunity to prepare physically and mentally for their bouts at the 2017 World Championship.

The ARTOS Mini Fencing Piste is a clever new product. It is the latest generation of the globally successful ARTOS fencing pistes and is suitable for training and competition use. Due to its low weight of 10 kg and the sporting dimensions of 15.0 x 0.8 m, the Mini Fencing Piste can preferably be used as a mobile fencing piste.
