ALLSTAR

Allstar was founded by Hanne Messemer and her son Roland in 1964. The company grew rapidly and eventually became one of the leading manufacturers of fencing equipment.

As early as 1965, Allstar equipped German and foreign fencers for the World Championships for the first time. Three years later, Allstar became the official supplier to the German Olympic team as well as other teams, such as fencers from the USSR, Italy, and France. Since the World Championships in Hamburg in 1978, Allstar has become the undisputed No. 1 among fencing equipment suppliers worldwide.

Since then, fencing equipment bearing the red allstar logo has been seen on at least 80% of participants in World Championships and Olympic Games.

Allstar became the official supplier of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) in 2002. The success of the Allstar company began with the world’s first elastic fencing suit and a one-year wear guarantee.

The allstar fencing suit suddenly gave fencers an unprecedented freedom of movement, which is essential for giving fencing its dynamic character. The first safety fencing suits and roll bags in fencing are also thanks to allstar. In 1981, allstar developed the first microprocessor-controlled fencing scoreboard and in 1987 the first universal scoreboard for all three weapons. This made allstar one of the leading suppliers of fencing equipment at world championships. And finally, at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

Since service has been very important to allstar since the company was founded, direct sales were eventually introduced. The idea for tournament service was just as revolutionary. allstar stands for quality “Made in Germany” as the safety equipment is 100% manufactured in Reutlingen.

Allstar has the world’s largest selection of fencing equipment such as fencing suits, masks, blades, and bags at fair prices.

Allstar stands for: quality, innovation, selection, value for money, and service.

FENCING.NET

Fencing.Net is an online platform and shop for fencing sports.

Fencing.Net aims to use its resources and tips to convey the joy of fencing and inspire more people to take up the sport. Craig Harkins initially ran the website as a hobby. In 1995, he began training as a service provider. Part of his training involved learning about the internet and creating a website. Since fencing was Craig’s passion, a website about fencing was born.

Fencing.Net began with reports from old training magazines, notes, and various tournaments. Soon after, Craig met Serge Timacheff, who is responsible for the photographs on Fencing.Net.

Over time, an online community of fencers grew and Fencing.Net forums developed where active members could discuss fencing.

Since 2005, Craig has been running Fencing.Net full-time and now employs several people. In addition to extensive coverage of the latest competition results, Fencing.Net also has a comprehensive fencing equipment store.

NEGRINI

Since the 16th century, the fortified city of Verona has been an important center for the production of weapons for the lion armies of the “Serenissima” Republic of Venice. The development of a tradition in the Verona area for high-quality, handcrafted weapons and related products can be attributed to this period. Flawless weapons manufactured in the city of Scaliger were used in important military campaigns. Examples of valuable pieces are still preserved in museums and private collections and provide accurate historical references for a time when skilled craftsmen and artists from Verona were at the forefront of the prestigious schools in Italy.

The master manufacturer NEGRINI & Son, founded in 1897, was one of the first to make a fundamental contribution to the strengthening of knightly weapons and the “noble art” in Italy. In more recent times, NEGRINI & Son became the official supplier to the Italian Army, the Royal Italian Navy, and the Italian Armed Forces.

After World War II, thanks to its ever-improving production quality, flawless weapons and fencing equipment, and the ingenious collaboration of Angelo Negrini, NEGRINI & Son achieved remarkable success in foreign markets.

Today, NEGRINI FENCING LINE, under the management of Mrs. Anna Negrini and her two sons, Paolo and Michael, is a keen observer of the growing needs of the global markets and focuses on style and quality in its production.

NEGRINI FENCING LINE has achieved its goals in fencing, with many Olympic athletes relying on its products. One of them is Valentina Vezzali, a women’s foil fencer (Olympic medals: 1x gold and 1x silver in Atlanta 1996, 2x gold in Sydney 2000, 1x gold in Athens 2004), Giovanna Trillini (1992 Olympic gold (individual) medal & 1996 Olympic gold (team) and bronze (individual)), and the Italian World Juniors Team would not exist without their NEGRINI FENCING LINE equipment.

Over the years, NEGRINI FENCING LINE has become synonymous with quality, style, and reliable equipment.
